Adrienna’s diverse background informs her approach to design. Through working with a range of analog and digital processes including weaving, screen printing and photographic mediums, Adrienna earned her degree in Photography from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
Nostalgia is a prominent theme in Adrienna’s practice. She is drawn to the narrative quality that both photography and textiles possess. Through reducing the subject matter in her work to simplified colours, shapes and fragments she explores how we recall memories. Her current work is created using the punch needle technique and features representations of travel destinations.
Adrienna’s personal work has been shown in the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art, The Art With Heart Auction, the DesignTO Festival, and has been featured in Canadian Art Magazine and The Globe Style Advisor.
